After completing his master’s degree, he joined Sumitomo Chemical Co.,Ltd. He was engaged in the development of thermosetting resins, photo-curing resins, and light control films based on these resins, protective coating materials, adhesives, and color resists for displays. In particular, he started development of color resists from scratch, and over a period of about 20 years, increased the number of development bases in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, while gaining the top share in the industry.
Since its inception, he had been involved in the company’s technological development in a supervisory capacity. Since 2013, he has been in charge of technology and patent searches mainly in the field of information electronics at STIS.
In 2019, he was appointed Director of the company.
